Privacy policy

This is a demo website made by Admista to show what a heating and cooling company's website can look like. Degree Day Heating & Cooling, its staff, address and phone number are made up.

What this site collects

Nothing. The request form only checks your typing on your own device, then tells you it’s a demo. No one receives, stores or sees what you enter. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising tags.

Why we’d use it

A real heating company would use the form only to call you back, book the visit and send the quote, then keep it with your service record if you hire them. Here it goes nowhere: the form never leaves your screen.

What loads from elsewhere

The job photos are served by Unsplash (images.unsplash.com), so your browser asks Unsplash for them and Unsplash sees the request, like your IP address. Cloudflare hosts the pages and keeps its normal server logs. What you type in the form reaches neither of them.

A real company’s policy

A real company would collect your name, phone, address and details about your home to book and do the work. Its policy would say what it collects, why, who it shares it with (for example its scheduling software), how long it keeps your records, and how to see or correct them, following Canada’s PIPEDA.
